Il testo si propone di rivedere le strutture e le funzioni della lingua inglese presenti nel syllabus della Scuola Secondaria di Primo Grado. Esse vengono presentate in un contesto diverso da quello del corso di lingua usato nell’anno scolastico: quello delle attività e degli interessi prevalentemente estivi di questa fascia di adolescenti.
 I testi e gli esercizi sono concepiti in modo da essere efficacemente sfruttati in maniera autonoma. Il libro è organizzato in Weeks con cadenza regolare e costante. I contenuti, sempre stimolanti, sono adeguati al livello linguistico, le istruzioni sono chiare e in italiano.
 Le settimane contengono le seguenti aree tematiche:

 Book 2
 People and places – Wildlife – Computers – Music – History – TV &amp; Cinema shows – Magazines
 
 Il materiale autentico è una caratteristica costante di questi testi: riviste, siti web, pubblicità, dépliant turistici, ecc. costituiscono un tuffo dentro la cultura dei paesi anglofoni.
 
 La struttura. Ogni volume è suddiviso in sette settimane articolate secondo uno stesso percorso costante:
 – Pagina 1 e 2 di presentazione che introducono, o sotto forma di lettura o di ascolto, gli argomenti della settimana
 – Pagina 3 dedicata all’abilità di reading
 – Pagina 4 dedicata all’abilità di listening
 – Pagina 5 dedicata all’abilità di speaking
 – Pagina 6 dedicata all’abilità di writing
 – Pagina 7 dedicata alla certificazione KET
 – Pagina 8 dedicata all’acquisizione del lessico
 – Pagina 9 dedicata alle strutture grammaticali
 – Pagina 11 dedicata alla pratica grammaticale

She receives a lot of prizes for her works, including Grammy Awards. She also starts acting and her first film is  Carmen   A Hip Hopera . She is not only a singer, but also a songwriter, actress, dancer and model. 2. Her birth name is Stacey Ann Ferguson, but she is known as        . She is an American songwriter, fashion designer, actress and singer. She starts singing in a girl group called  Wild Orchid , then she becomes the vocalist for the hip hop/pop group the Black Eyed Peas. Her first solo album is  The Dutchess . As an actress she is on the TV programme  Kids Incorporated  when she is just 10; then she is the voice of Sally in some Charlie Brown specials. More recently, she has a supporting role in the musical  Nine . 3. Born in Staffordshire,            . is one of the most famous British pop singers. He is a member of the boy band  Take That , but in 1995 he starts a solo career. Among his first hits are the single  Freedom  and the album  Life Thru a Lens . In 2000 he also becomes a star in the USA with his song  Rock DJ  and, some time later, with the duet song  Something Stupid  with Australian actress Nicole Kidman. In 2002 he appears in the list of the  100 Greatest Britons  and his biography,  Feel , becomes an instant bestseller on its publication in 2004. He now lives in Los Angeles. 4.              was born in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1981. He becomes famous as a vocalist in the pop band  N Sync after his appearance on the American TV talent show  Star Search . He also attracts the media attention because of his relationship with Britney Spears and, later, with Cameron Diaz. His first solo album,  Justified  (2002) has impressive sales. He performs with some of the most popular stars like Christina Aguilera, Kylie Minogue and Janet Jackson. He is an actor, too: among his roles, he is King Arthur in  Shrek 3 .
