Decide which would be the most suitable one for the people (6-10).   For questions 6-10, mark the correct letter (A-H) on your answer sheet. 6. Stella is a teacher at a primary school. She wants to visit a museum with her class who are studying the dinosaur. She d like the children to be able to interact with the exhibits. She would also like to come by public transport and be able to eat indoors if wet outside. 7. Nina loves animals and wants to go to a museum to find out about famous pets in the past and today. She is doing a project for school and needs to go on Sunday. Her family will go with her and they would like to eat lunch there. They will go by car. 8. The Hakumi family are planning a holiday to London in the Easter holidays. They want to see and experience something about the past and Mr Brown wants to learn about old aeroplanes. They want to have a special lunch and buy some souvenirs to take back to China. 9. Jacob is a student studying History at High School. He wants to go to a museum near his home in London to learn about life of the people in the past. He wants to be able to understand what it was really like to live as a poor person and hopes to listen to authentic stories about their lives. 10. Claudine loves Art and Design and would like to go to an art gallery to see clothes designs through the ages. She wants to meet up with her friends for lunch there; they will come by bus. She hopes to buy a book on fashion and design from the exhibition. 78 

Practice Test 4 Paper 1 - READING AND WRITING A) The clink Prison museum is built upon the original site of the Clink Prison. The Prison dates back to 1144 making it one of England s oldest, if not the oldest Prison. Visitors will experience a hands-on educational experience allowing them to handle original artefacts, including torture devices, as well as the opportunity to hear the amazing stories of the inmates and the poorest people. B) The Victoria and albert museum is a must! There s a wonderful new exhibition on fashion through the ages running from mid-July to mid-September. Tickets on sale now. The V&A has been recently refurbished and boasts a warm and welcoming café serving lunches and afternoon teas. Underground stop is Gloucester Road. C) For more than four decades, the animal hall of fame has honoured an elite group of pets and dogs for their extraordinary acts of heroism and bravery, which have saved human lives through the centuries. 25 dogs have been honoured so far. We welcome you to our modern day museum Monday to Saturday. d) iWm london tells the stories of people s experiences of war from the First World War to the present day. Some of the most important weapons, vehicles and aeroplanes of the twentieth century can be seen. Try out some wartime ration food in the tea rooms and buy wartime memorabilia in the shop. Closed Mondays. This museum in London will be closed from 2 January to end of July. e) natural history museum. Nearest Tube: Gloucester Road. Bus 65. The Museum is open every day except 24th-26th December. Last admission is at 17.30. Café open until 17.30. Picnic area in basement can be booked for groups. Fun  n  games: Volcanic games, dinosaur quizzes, hair investigations! There is plenty of fun stuff to do in Fun  n  Games. F) animal and insect exhibition coming shortly to the Science museum.
