module 2 CONNECTORS Connectors are words which are used as a link between single words, phrases, sentences or paragraphs. Depending on their function, they can be divided into coordinating connectors and subordinating connectors. COORDINATING CONNECTORS They connect two or more words in a sentence or two or more sentences of the same kind in a period. They may connect paragraphs dealing with the same topic in a text. They are adverbs, phrases or conjunctions and they can be sorted into different groups, depending on the function they perform.
