Although I am still the same I believe to have changed to the bones. It is one of the oldest methods used for goods and passenger transportation. Historically, most of the ancient towns were founded close to a waterway, which gave the possibility of the fastest and most convenient travelling at the time. Water transportation can be divided into: 1. Essential transport services, which provide tourists and locals with transport services to reach locations. It covers short distances and provides transportation to reach islands or parts of the land that can be accessed more easily and faster by water than by land. This type of service has been carried out by barges (mainly for goods) and ferries for several centuries. Large ferries can also carry cars, trucks and even railway carriages. Most of them offer catering services through bars and restaurants and some have shops on board. Most recently, ferries have been replaced by faster short distance watercraft: hydrofoils, which move over water at high speed. The foils that are under the boat lift the hull out of the water, allowing for a great speed sea catamarans, which are boats that sit on two parallel hulls of equal size. The two hulls reduce the drag compared to a mono-hull, allowing for faster speed hovercraft, which are vehicles that sit on an air-cushion. The pressure difference between the higher pressure below the hull and lower pressure above it produces lift, which causes the hull to float above the water surface. Water buses also offer an essential transport service. They are like public buses that run on water. They have a regular timetable with fixed stop stations. 2. Leisure transport service, which is used only by tourists and whose objective is their entertainment. This service is run by cruise ships and boats.
