If you see any of these, you should protect your child, simply by helping them back into a normal life with less phone time. For example, by imposing screen-free time, such as, it s dinner, no phones; it s film time, no phones; it s time for a family walk, no phones . There is no need to ban phones, but most of all, adults should begin with themselves and cut down on their own screen-free time so as to set an example to the young people around them.
