 MechPower è un corso di inglese specialistico per il settore Meccanica, Meccatronica ed Energia.
 
 I contenuti sono ordinati secondo criteri di graduale complessità concettuale e linguistica e vengono esplorati utilizzando le quattro abilità in modo omogeneo e integrato. I brani offrono un assortimento di stili, registri e livelli di difficoltà.
 
 La struttura
 MechPower è diviso in sette Moduli, ognuno dei quali è ripartito in un numero variabile di Unità.
 
 Ogni Unità è suddivisa in brevi Capitoli su due pagine – teoria ed esercizi – per favorire uno studio più parcellizzato e la scelta antologica da parte dell’insegnante. Brevi link (curiosità, ampliamenti, rimandi, attività o mini-approfondimenti) arricchiscono i brani per consentire una maggiore interattività. Un ricco apparato iconografico correda i brani di lettura, per ognuno dei quali è previsto un esauriente glossario.
 
 Al termine di ogni Unità è presente la seguente sezione:
 
 Mapping your mind: Mappa riepilogativa.
 Alla fine dei primi sei Moduli, il testo propone ulteriori attività:

Citizenship maChine toolS: SaFetY at WorK Safety of workers refers to the provision of a safe working environment, safe equipment, policies, and procedures in order to ensure workers  health and safety. Machinery is commonplace within factories and industrial environments, but it comes with risks attached. The dangers posed by sharp edges, clamps, presses, hot surfaces and moving parts are clear and operators must be protected. Aside from training, operational precautions are essential for safe use of machinery. 12 match each of the following examples of hazards with the correct type of threat. 1. Cuts and puncture wounds from sharp edges 2. Skin abrasions from rough surfaces 3. Slips and falls 4. Lifting or sitting for long periods 5. Burns and scalds from escaping steam or hot surfaces 6. Handling dangerous liquids and solvents 7. Dealing with inflammable substances or electrical energy-based processes 8. Crushing injuries if caught between moving parts or between a wall and part of a machine 9. Poor posture 10. Limbs caught in moving parts such as belts and rollers 11. Working with high strength adhesives 12.
