 A young solicitor goes to Transylvania to sell a house in London to Count Dracula. It is the beginning of troubles, both for himself and his dear ones. A group of friends, however, led by Prof. Van Helsing - an expert in occultism and magic arts - engage in a fight to the death to defeat the terrible vampire.
 Dracula (1897) can be considered the last of the great gothic novels in which Bram Stoker revives the myth of the vampire and creates a novel with gloomy and sinister atmospheres, where fear, terror and horror are the prevailing feelings.
 Stimulating inserts about the origins of Dracula, bats, Transylvania, theatre and cinema performances on the subject enrich the book.

Dracula Mina s Awareness Chapter 7 Jonathan Harker received this message from Van Helsing: Stay with Mina and take care of your dear wife. Let me tell you what we four already know: he, our enemy, has gone away, back to his castle in Transylvania. He knows that his game here is over. He found a ship and left. We are going to find which ship and then will let you know what we have discovered. I repeat take care of Madam Mina. We shall win! Van Helsing Mina was very happy to hear Van Helsing s good news. The certainty that the Count was out of the country gave her comfort. Even Jonathan s terrible experience in the castle seemed a long-forgotten1 dream. In the afternoon Professor Van Helsing described what steps were taken during the day to discover on which boat and to where Count Dracula had made his escape. He said that he probably had gone by the Danube mouth, since he had come that way. He said he had questioned men and they had told him how the afternoon before a man had come in a hurry, a tall man, thin and pale, with a high nose, white teeth and burning eyes. He had asked which ship was due to2 sail for the Black Sea.
