L’argomento.
 Map the World N.E. è un testo rivolto in particolare agli studenti dei corsi con indirizzo Turismo e, più in generale, a coloro che operano nel campo dei servizi turistici, in quanto finalizzato all’acquisizione di competenze professionali specifiche del settore.
 
 La struttura.
 Map the World N.E. è diviso in cinque Sezioni, ognuna delle quali è ripartita in unità.
 
 • UNITÀ. Ogni unità è suddivisa in brevi Capitoli su due pagine – teoria ed esercizi – per favorire uno studio più parcellizzato e la scelta dei contenuti da parte dell’insegnante. I contenuti sono divisi in paragrafi titolati per rendere la comprensione più agevole.
 
 Al termine di ogni Unità della prima Sezione si trova una sezione di vocabulary con numerose immagini e diversi esercizi per consentire un efficace consolidamento.
 
 Al termine delle prime quattro Sezioni, il testo propone ulteriori attività:
 
 – Round-up: Esercizi di revisione di lessico e contenuti;
 
 – Case study: Argomento di attualità corredato di esercizi mirati all’approfondimento e alla discussione;
 
 – Real life skills: Compiti di realtà e collaborativi con un taglio di tipo pratico calato nella realtà;
 
 – Mapping your mind: Mappa per rappresentare la rete di relazioni tra i vari argomenti della Sezione.
 
 • ULTIMA SEZIONE. L’ultima sezione comprende tre unità funzionali a e arricchenti l’intero testo:
 
 – Art: Lessico e strumenti utili alla descrizione di un’opera d’arte dopo aver riassunto le principali correnti artistiche;
 
 – Grammar: Revisione delle strutture grammaticali più comuni accompagnata da esercizi di rinforzo calati in contesto;
 
 – Civilisation: Riassunto schematico e comparativo tra UK e US delle loro principali caratteristiche geografiche, storiche, politiche e culturali con anche riferimenti all’Unione Europea e alle organizzazioni internazionali.

2.2 Interacting Quotations When companies need goods or services, they send a (RFQ) in order to choose the best offer able to meet their needs. In their request, they should provide a description of what they are looking for. request for quotation A business (or quote) is the written response in which the potential supplier describes the goods or services he can provide together with prices. quotation Both the request and the reply may be sent through emails or official letters; the language should be formal, and the contents should be expressed clearly.
