A typical office suite includes applications such as a word processor, a spreadsheet, and presentation software. Word processors A word processor is an application used to write, edit and print documents, as well as save them electronically. The main functions of a word processor are: text formatting, which refers to the appearance of the text, including font type and size, bolding and italicising; text editing, which refers to the content of the text, including saving and printing documents, creating and editing tables, inserting elements such as images and links, correcting spelling and grammar; the layout, which refers to the orientation, the margins and the way a text is set out on a page; the revision, which enables other users to modify or add notes to a text. Presentation software Presentation software is an application program which allows the user to create a presentation of ideas or projects combining texts, images, audios and videos. The presentation is usually arranged in slides that display information.
